Legal Assistant - Newark Office

At Mandarich Law Group, LLP, we are looking for great people to bring their passion and strong work ethic to the job. We are currently recruiting for a Legal Assistant in our Newark, Ohio office. Mandarich Law Group is one of the country's leading creditor's right law firm with offices in CA, Il, NY, MI, OH, GA, NV, and FL.

FULL TIME: Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. In-office.

What You'll Do:

• Receive and process a file of incoming e-service daily, which will include various types of correspondence and pleadings. You will identify, barcode, and scan those documents into case management and disburse to the appropriate attorneys, for next actions.
• In processing the e-service, you will also enter required data into case management, for example, attorney information, hearing dates, and received dates.
• Possible e-filing approved documents on various court portals
• Following up on e-filed documents online, downloading filed documents
• Docketing relevant information
• Communicating with court clerks for status updates via phone
• Closing accounts in our system once certain criteria has been met

What You'll Need:

• Paralegal Certificate, preferred.
• Excellent communication and writing ability, organizational skills, analytical skills and interpersonal skills.
• the ability to work independently and juggle multiple projects.
• Proficiency in Adobe PDF, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
• 2+ years’ experience working in an office setting.
• Minimum: High School Diploma.
